World renown artists and collectors, multimillion dollars worth of art, and art galleries and museums were killed or destroyed in the January 12th earthquake that leveled much of Port-au-Prince and its immediate surroundings.

Haiti’s Back Porch manager on Clinton Foundation committee to promote art

Haiti’s Back Porch shop manager Patty Kantrowitz is serving on a committee with the Clinton Foundation to promote the work of Haitian artisans worldwide.
The panel is one of five creating plans to support long-term growth of Haiti’s economy, with some focus on the art and handicrafts markets.
